StudyKosh collects information that is reasonably necessary to create accounts, provide educational services, process course enrolments and payments, conduct classes, maintain learning records and operate the Platform.

StudyKosh uses technology services, including Firebase and other technical infrastructure, to operate and maintain the Platform.

6. LIVE CLASSES AND ZOOM
StudyKosh may use Zoom for conducting live online classes.
When a user joins a StudyKosh class conducted through Zoom, information necessary for participation may be processed by Zoom.

Zoom is an independent third-party service provider. Information processed through Zoom is also subject to Zoom's applicable terms and privacy practices.
7. COURSE CONTENT AND AWS S3
StudyKosh uses cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon S3, for storing and delivering certain educational materials such as course videos and related digital content.
Course content stored on such infrastructure is protected through appropriate access controls and is intended to be accessible only to authorised users according to their course enrolment and Platform permissions.
StudyKosh does not intentionally provide unrestricted public access to paid course content.
StudyKosh uses Firebase services as part of its application infrastructure.
Depending on the Firebase services enabled in the StudyKosh application, Firebase may process certain technical, application or usage information necessary for functions such as application operation, performance monitoring, authentication, crash reporting or related technical services.
StudyKosh configures and uses such services for legitimate Platform and educational purposes.
The information processed by Firebase is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.
StudyKosh does not use Firebase for the purpose of selling users' personal information.
8. SHARING OF INFORMATION
StudyKosh does not sell, rent or commercially trade users' personal information.
StudyKosh also does not routinely disclose user information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

10. CHILDREN AND PARENT/GUARDIAN INVOLVEMENT
StudyKosh provides educational programs that may be used by students of different age groups.
Where a learner is a child, StudyKosh expects the child's parent or legal guardian to create the account or guide and supervise the child's use of the Platform where appropriate.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account for a child and for supervising the child's use of StudyKosh where required.
StudyKosh does not knowingly sell children's personal information.
StudyKosh does not intentionally use children's personal information for targeted advertising.
Where applicable laws or Google Play requirements require additional protections for children's data, StudyKosh will apply those requirements to the extent applicable.
Google Play requires additional privacy and data-handling safeguards where children are included in an app's target audience, including specific requirements concerning data collected through SDKs.

16. INDIA DATA PROTECTION
StudyKosh is committed to complying with applicable Indian data-protection and privacy requirements.
This includes applicable requirements under India's Digital Personal Data Protection framework, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules as and when their respective provisions become applicable to StudyKosh's processing activities.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 were notified by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on 14 November 2025, with different provisions having specified commencement timelines.
StudyKosh will implement applicable requirements concerning notice, consent, security, retention, children's data and user rights in accordance with the law applicable to its processing activities.
17. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
StudyKosh uses technology and infrastructure providers that may process or store information on systems located outside the user's immediate location.
For example, cloud, payment, video-conferencing and technology service providers may process information through infrastructure located in different jurisdictions.
Where applicable, StudyKosh will take reasonable measures to ensure that such processing is conducted in accordance with applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards.
The StudyKosh Platform may contain links or integrations to services operated by third parties.
StudyKosh is not responsible for the independent privacy practices, content or security practices of third-party websites or services.
Users should review the applicable privacy policies of third-party services before providing information directly to them.
18. NO SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
StudyKosh does not sell or rent users' personal information.
